Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced Scaffold Craftsman 2 to support industrial construction projects in our site operations. The role involves reading blueprints, selecting tools, and assembling scaffolding systems, ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.

You will also build wooden scaffolds and perform rigging of equipment loads. Ideal candidates have industrial site experience, strong tool skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions while

Qualifications

Experience as a Scaffold Craftsman 2 in a Power Plant / Industrial setting.
Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work: locations, quantities and sizes of materials required.
Identify all tools required for tasks and measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specifications.
Erect and disassemble scaffolding for buildings and other structures and installs ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds.
Build and construct wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items.
Perform work involving rigging of equipment loads.
