Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled laborer for scaffolding erection/dismantling and related heavy equipment tasks on construction sites in Mississippi. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and assemble scaffolds, ladders, and walkways as required.

The role requires climbing and working at heights, outdoor work in all weather, and willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as workload dictates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Ability to communicate with management

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope of work
• Identify tools required and measure/cut materials
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, walkways and platforms
• Construct, reinforce and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds
• Build wooden scaffolds and auxiliary items
• Rig equipment loads
