Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is looking for a sanitation associate to clean and maintain designated areas, including machinery and gaskets, and to assist in setup for daily production. You will handle cleaning solutions and chemicals, ensuring safe and effective sanitation throughout shifts.

The role requires physical work in a wet/cold environment, ability to stand for long periods, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills required.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of chemical handling.
• Ability to follow safety policies and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas.
• Tear down machinery at the start of the cleanup shift.
• Help set up before production starts in the morning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
