Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Georgia is seeking a sanitation-focused role to clean and sanitize our production areas and assist with equipment setup before shifts. You will maintain cleanliness of machinery and surroundings, following safety procedures and PPE requirements.

The position requires the ability to work unsupervised, nights and weekends, and basic understanding of machinery teardown. Poultry plant experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic chemical understanding.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
• Clean up (parts) experience.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Assist setup before production starts in the morning.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
