Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Tyler, TX is seeking a full-time Sanitation Associate to clean and maintain the assigned area, tear down/setup machinery, and handle cleaning solutions. The role includes night shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (hours vary) and strict adherence to safety and PPE policies.

You will work in a wet, cold environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and follow SOPs with on-the-job training provided. Benefits are available day one, and Wayne Farms is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Able to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitize all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts up in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
