Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking dedicated Sanitation Team Members to keep equipment and facilities clean for daily production at our Perry, GA plant. Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 7:30pm–6am, with overtime opportunities as needed.

You'll apply chemicals, perform hot and cold wash downs, and follow GMP, HACCP and SSOP procedures, aiding start-up and re-assembly. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced food environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience in a manufacturing food facility.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and equipment in proper sequence to enable pre-op inspection and setup for a smooth start.
• Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing using sprayers and hoses.
• Perform hot water wash down (120-140°F) and cold wash downs for equipment, floors and walls.
• Clean equipment parts, overheads, pipes and lights in the plant area.
• Clean breakrooms and bathrooms during work hours.
• Collect trash for disposal and transport to the trash compactor.
• Follow sanitation schedule and meet designated goals.
• Assist with re-assembly of machines for start-up and suggest improvements.
