Job summary

Jack Link's Protein Snacks is seeking a Sanitation Specialist for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights to keep equipment and facilities clean and ready for production. You will follow GMP, HACCP and SSOP standards while applying proper chemicals and performing hot/cold wash downs to ensure top quality sanitation.

The role requires detail orientation, ability to follow procedures and strong teamwork in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience in manufacturing food facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean facilities and equipment in proper sequence for pre-op setup and start-up.
• Apply chemicals for cleaning, degreasing and sanitizing.
• Perform hot and cold water wash downs on equipment, floors and walls.
• Clean equipment parts, overheads, pipes and lights.
• Maintain clean breakrooms and bathrooms during shift.
• Transport trash to compactor for disposal.
• Follow sanitation schedule and complete master cleaning plan.
• Use appropriate chemicals at specified concentrations.
