Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Dobson, NC seeks a dedicated sanitation worker to clean and maintain assigned areas, including machinery teardown and setup. Responsibilities include handling cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures to ensure sanitary production areas are ready for daily operations.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and preferably poultry experience, along with a basic understanding of chemicals and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Able to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Strong work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Cleanup (parts) experience.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitized all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts up in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
