Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a janitorial associate to maintain cleaning and sanitation in designated manufacturing areas. You will support operators, assist with equipment assembly/disassembly, and help ensure smooth startups and shutdowns while pursuing continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to follow SOPs. Candidates should be comfortable with computer-based training and possess good teamwork and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
Ability to read procedure documents and proofread alpha/numeric data.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and multi-task.
Basic computer skills and use of training systems may be required.
Effective communication as a team member and understanding cGMP practices.
Previous work with chemicals is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for janitorial and environmental cleaning in assigned areas.
Assist operators with labor duties related to cleaning processes.
Assemble and disassemble equipment to support startups/shutdowns.
Continuously seek improvements to processes, productivity, quality and cost reduction.
Perform other related duties in the department as assigned.
Work overtime as required.
