Job summary

US FOODS is hiring Night Sanitation Workers in Zebulon, NC. You will clean and maintain the division building and related property, with duties spanning sweeping, trash removal, pallet handling, spill management, and light maintenance. The role supports safety and food safety standards and includes overtime, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10pm–7am. Must read and communicate in English; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language.
• High School education or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial and/or sanitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans the entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoups damage and determines resale or disposal per rules.
• Performs light maintenance duties (bulbs, recyclables, shrink wrap, leaks checks).
• Prepares reports to document cleaning schedules and spills; may track supplies.
