Job summary

Clorox is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our Reno, NV facility. You will perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant production environment, working closely with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

Shift hours are Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, with pay rate of $29.56/hour plus $1.50 shift differential. The role emphasizes food safety, cGMP, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or related industrial work environment.
• Fluent in English communication (verbal, written, and reading).
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily plant cleaning and sanitation activities in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Follow GMPs, SSOPs, and sanitation procedures; maintain records.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and cleaning activities; communicate with supervisors.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to support plant operations.
