Job summary

Winland Foods in Buckner, KY is seeking a Sanitation Manager to lead the sanitation team, ensuring equipment and facility sanitation meet company, customer, regulatory, and food safety standards while supporting production schedules.

You will develop, monitor, and improve sanitation programs, track KPIs, and collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and timely audit outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sanitation programs in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of GMP/food safety and regulatory audits.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and manage the Sanitation team to ensure a safe, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
• Direct all sanitation activities to ensure equipment and facilities meet company, customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to support production schedules and sanitation objectives.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve sanitation programs, procedures, and standards across the facility.
• Monitor sanitation performance through key metrics, identify trends, perform gap analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate sanitation-related issues, determine root causes, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead and support internal, customer, SQF/BRC, FDA, and other regulatory audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely resolution of findings.
