Job summary

SoluZone Consulting is partnering with a leading North American dairy manufacturer in Bellingham, WA to hire a Sanitation Lead for the night shift in a high-volume dairy production facility. You will supervise CIP/HTST sanitation, uphold GMP compliance, manage chemical usage, and collaborate with QA and plant leadership to ensure food safety and sanitation excellence.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort working in hot, humid production

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in food or dairy manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Working knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and WHMIS/hazardous materials handling.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in hot/cold environments, humid, noisy food-production setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIP sanitation programs and supervise the sanitation team.
• Oversee HTST pasteurizer cleaning and sanitation.
• Troubleshoot CIP issues including sensors and fittings.
• Plan manpower for cleaning tasks and adjust workloads.
• Monitor chemical usage and ensure SOP compliance.
• Review CIP/HTST sanitation charts and documentation.
• Conduct cleanliness verification and sanitation testing.
• Ensure GMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines are followed.
• Address performance and attendance within the sanitation team.
• Communicate daily with QA and facility leadership.
• Foster a high-performing team culture.
