Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, Texas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the night shift on a rotating weekend schedule. The role involves a range of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for adults and neonates.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Texas, registered by NBRC, with at least six months of experience and graduate from an accredited program. You will support ventilator care, ABG, PFTs and infection control.

Qualifications

• Licensed by Texas Medical Board as Respiratory Care Practitioner in good standing.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosols, bronchial hygiene and ventilator support.
• Assess and treat adults and neonates with bedside evaluation and chart review.
• Interpret CXR, ABG and PFT data to guide care.
• Operate, assemble and troubleshoot CP equipment and delivery devices.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document and report patient progress and respond to changes.
