Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, ID is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Respiratory Therapy team. This role provides routine and emergency respiratory procedures including ventilator management and pulmonary diagnostics, with independence in clinical judgment and mentorship of staff.

The position requires NBRC RRT, Idaho or Oregon license, BLS on hire (ACLS/PALS may be accepted), and commitment to patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active state license in Idaho or Oregon.
• NBRC RRT credential required.
• BLS at hire; ACLS/PALS may substitute for BLS.
• Additional SAHS certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory procedures including assessment, ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics.
• Deliver medicated aerosols and airway clearance therapies; assist with bronchoscopy.
• Participate in rounds with physicians; mentor staff and new hires.
• Perform arterial line placement, ABG sampling, analysis, and interpretation.
• Complete mandatory training on time and uphold department protocols.
• Adapt care based on patient condition and physician-approved protocols.
