Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) for PRN daytime coverage.

The role administers pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care per physician orders and documents patient responses. You will collaborate with care teams, manage ventilators and airway support, and ensure safety through PPE and infection control while maintaining accurate EMR records.

Qualifications

• RRT certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications may be required in NICU contexts.
• 1–3 years of acute care respiratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Ventilator management and airway maintenance.
• Ensures PPE use and infection control compliance.
• Documents all treatments and patient responses clearly.
