Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for the night shift to perform overnight sleep studies, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and related procedures under a physician's direction. You will score studies, prepare reports, educate patients, and maintain equipment in a safe, patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Required: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Required: BLS (American Heart Association) within 3 months

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT
• Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards
• Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence
• Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols
• Document all care in the EMR
