Job summary

Shearer’s Foods is seeking a Robotic Operator for shift coverage in the night window (7 PM–7 AM) to monitor and maintain the robotic palletizing system in a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and a strong mechanical aptitude. The role requires lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and adherence to LOTO and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience.
• Food-related backgrounds are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when handling pallets; up to 15 lbs continuously when hand stacking cases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage and maintain the Robotic Palletizing System in production.
• Follow safety procedures, GMP and PPE guidelines.
• Wrap full pallets in plastic using Lantech Wrapper and tag/index pallets.
• Communicate with Maintenance, Warehouse and Production in real time.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions to Supervisor/ Maintenance.
• Ensure proper stacking of cases by SKU and line; prevent skid mixing.
