Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Women’s Services to join our Lebanon, TN team on a Night shift. The Staffing Collaborative offers 13-week assignments with premium pay within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will collaborate with the health care team, apply the nursing process, and ensure high-quality care for complex patients. TN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required; prior Women’s Services experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program (or equivalent experience)
• 1 year of recent RN Women’s Services experience, Preferred 2 or more years of recent Women’s Services (L&D, Post Partum) RN experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
