Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the night shift on weekends in Gettysburg, PA. The role requires the nurse to provide professional care at the beginner practitioner level within an assigned unit, coordinating care with other disciplines and following established procedures and protocols.

Essential duties include administering treatments and medications, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• BSN preferred.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse upon hire required or RN multi-state license upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct care in accordance with nursing process and clinical standards.
• Administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions.
• Documents patient response and progress in medical records.
• Collaborates with disciplines to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Mentors and coaches junior staff as needed.
• Maintains safety and infection control standards.
