Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7:00pm–7:00am night shift in Lewisburg, PA. This full-time position (0.9 FTE) includes weekend and holiday rotation and a sign-on bonus eligible. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with the care team, and documentation in the EMR.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, prioritizing tasks by patient needs, and contributing to patient safety and quality initiatives while collaborating with physicians and other staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma program or an Associates degree required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit.
• Safely administers prescribed treatments and medications.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines and communicates patient needs for safe handoffs.
• Documents patient responses and progress to outcomes in the EMR and other records.
• Promotes patient safety, professional practice, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
