Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Women’s Medicine Unit. The role is part-time night shift, 2x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 p.m.

– 7:00 a.m., with weekends, holidays and on-call hours as scheduling needs require. The facility delivers high‑quality women’s health services and is part of the Inova Health System, consistently recognized for safety, quality and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of RN experience in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• RN with BSN required; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable clinical practice and care coordination for patients.
• Deliver safe, holistic, patient- and family-centered care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and document care activities.
• Ensure care aligns with standards and participates in performance improvement.
