Job summary

SSM Health in Monroe, WI, is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care; educate patients and families; collaborate with an interprofessional team; and maintain safety and quality while delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• RN license in Wisconsin or eligible for compact-state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase quality of care and quality of life.
• Establishes advocacy with patient and family to develop care plan.
• Uses nursing process to develop and implement plan of care and evaluate outcomes.
• Educates patient and family about measures to promote health and comfort.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to coordinate care.
