Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health (Waxahachie) is expanding and launching the 4 East Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit. This night-shift role supports a growing patient population in a brand-new floor with a focus on trauma care and patient safety.

You will oversee patient care on the 25-bed unit, perform detailed assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver evidence-based nursing. Current RN licensure required, along with inpatient Med Surg experience.

Qualifications

• Inpatient acute care Med Surg experience required.
• Current RN licensure required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care on a new Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit.
• Conduct detailed assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document learning needs.
• Collaborate with nursing colleagues to ensure safety and quality.
