Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join the Trauma Progressive Care Unit at Temple, TX. This 36-hour per week night shift position offers exposure to a high-acuity trauma patient mix on a 38-bed Telemetry Unit and opportunities for professional growth.

Ideal candidates will be ADN graduate with active RN license and BLS certification, ready to contribute to a collaborative, evidence-based care environment and participate in ongoing education and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN degree required
• Active RN License
• BLS certification or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 38-bed Telemetry Monitored Nursing Unit (5 North) for adults and geriatrics.
• Care for post-ICU trauma patients and a range of surgical specialties including bariatric, colorectal, thoracic, urology, neurosurgery, vascular and general surgery.
