Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake, WA seeks a registered nurse for a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends/holidays. The role includes a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external candidates and entails providing high-quality patient care across a busy acute care unit.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care plan implementation, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Washington RN licensure and BLS are required; trauma-level III designation applies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Washington State RN licensure.
• Experience as an acute care RN preferred; one year in specialty areas desired.
• BLS within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment and data collection for physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Implements care using established procedures and care plans.
• Documents in EMR or paper records per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Advices and educates patients and families as defined by policy and care plans.
• May act as Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care and staff coverage.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and professional standards at all times.
