Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Resource Pool on day shifts. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays, in Moses Lake, WA.

Be part of a Trauma Level III designated hospital and work under the Charge Nurse and department leadership. In addition to standard nursing duties, you may qualify for an up to $15,000 sign-on bonus (external candidates) and additional hourly incentives for cross-training across units.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN Licensure.
• Experience as an acute care registered nurse is preferred; minimum one year for specialty nursing departments.
• Ability to perform the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Delivers care using pre-determined procedures, policies and care plans.
• Identifies learning needs and provides patient teaching.
• Documents in EMR and/or paper records per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates awareness of patient/family rights and ensures respectful care.
• Delegates patient care activities appropriately and may supervise assigned staff.
• Maintains organization and prioritization using critical thinking.
• Supports safety requirements and regulatory compliance.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Current Washington State RN Licensure
