Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is seeking a registered nurse for the Medical Unit. You will deliver hands-on patient care to adults and geriatric patients, advocate for patient well-being, document care, and collaborate with the care team to implement care plans.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and eligibility for multistate licensure with Idaho within 60 days. The schedule features three 12-hour night shifts per week, with rotating weekends and opportunities

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from AHA or Red Cross is required (ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to adults and geriatric patients on the Medical Unit.
• Educate patients and families, administer medications and treatments, and develop care plans.
• Document care accurately and collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Advocate for physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being and support a fast-paced team environment.
