Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an RN with Trach & Vent experience for night shift home health and facility-based care in the Cleveland area. You’ll provide skilled nursing, airway management, and high‑quality care to pediatric and complex patients, with a focus on compassionate, one‑on‑one support.

The role offers a Wednesday to Saturday schedule, competitive hourly pay, overtime eligibility, and opportunities for training and advancement within a nationally recognized home care brand.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (unencumbered).
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (home care or critical care preferred).
• BLS/CPR certification and TB clearance.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility.
• Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19, Flu, Hep B).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for pediatric, memory/dementia, and complex care patients.
• Perform and manage Trach & Vent care, including airway and ventilator support.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes appropriately.
• Assist with ADLs and patient mobility as needed.
• Implement infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Administer care per physician orders and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with care team, patients, and families.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene, and clinical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development.
