Norman Regional is seeking a new graduate or experienced RN to join the Surgical Unit at Norman Regional. The role focuses on safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, working with a multidisciplinary team to support patient needs.

Unit features 32 beds, diverse surgical and nonsurgical cases, and collaborative nursing processes from assessment to evaluation. New grads may participate in Nurse Residency, with orientation including BLS/ACLS training.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Current OK RN license or Multistate RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required during orientation and maintained through re-training.

Responsibilities

• Assess/reassess patients using nursing process and involve patient/family as appropriate.
• Develop and document nursing diagnoses and outcomes with the care team.
• Coordinate and implement care using evidence-based practice and policy guidance.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Support discharge planning and resources as needed.
