Texas Health Resources is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Telemetry unit at Texas Health Plano in Plano, TX. This full-time position works nights (3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am) in the Surgical Telemetry Unit.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and ACLS/BCLS/CPI training; BSN preferred and 1 year RN experience with telemetry/cardiac is desired. Benefits include 401k, PTO, healthcare, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• RN required; Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• CLIAFE compliance with foreign education equivalency is required.
• BCLS, ACLS and CPI training required; RN residency or 1 year clinical nurse experience preferred; 2 years RN cardiac/telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient and plans care.
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates interventions.
• Maintains age-specific safety and infection control in patient care.
• Communicates information needs to patients and families.
• Ensures continuity of care across shifts and transfers.
