Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for FT Nights in the Surgical Med/Surg unit. You will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX or compact state.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• 0–2 years clinical nursing experience required or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Assess patients and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Deliver patient education and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection control standards.
• Operate and monitor medical devices as needed.
• Contribute to audits and QA efforts.
• Telemetry responsibilities for cardiac patients.
