Woodland Heights Medical Center in Texas is seeking an RN for night shift in the Med/Surg department. The role focuses on providing patient-centered care, coordinating with physicians and the care team, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Telemetry experience is part of the scope, with opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care, a valid RN license, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and active in the state.
• BCLS certification required at minimum; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process in Med/Surg.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
• Document care promptly in the medical record.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
• Telemetry RN duties: monitor heart rhythms and report trends.
