Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process and coordinate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The RN will administer medications, monitor patient status, and educate patients and families.

Applicants should have 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care, plus RN licensure; BCLS is required and ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN - Registered Nurse state licensure required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care and ensure patient safety.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects per standards.
