Job summary

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D. This 35-bed unit serves adolescent, adult and geriatric patients who require nursing interventions every 2–4 hours.

This part-time night shift offers a competitive pay range ($42.11–$67.37 per hour) and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 403b, generous PTO, tuition assistance and opportunities for growth through the Clinical Ladder.

Qualifications

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required. Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on the Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit 4D.
• Provide nursing interventions every 2–4 hours as needed.
• Overnight shifts on a part-time schedule with weekend rotation and holiday coverage.
