Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit, 4D, a 35-bed unit caring for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. This night position requires 72 hours per pay and a weekend rotation, with hours from 7 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m. The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for new hires committing to 2 years on the overnight shift, participation in the Clinical Ladder, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance,

Qualifications

• BSN or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
• One year of nursing experience required; two years in acute care preferred.
• Licensed or license eligible in Delaware.
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients on a 35-bed unit.
• Work a full-time night schedule: 72 hours per pay, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m., with weekend rotations.
