Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Surgical Intermediate Step-Down Unit. This full-time position requires overnights from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a commitment of 72 hours per pay period.

The unit focuses on high-level care for patients requiring nursing interventions every 2 to 4 hours. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for nurses committing to a Midnight shift for two years, alongside comprehensive medical benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience required.
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing interventions Q2-Q4 hours.
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an intermediate care setting.
