Job summary

Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team. This is a full-time night shift opportunity, 7p-7a.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families about plans of care, collaborate with physicians and care teams, advocate for patients, and participate in unit activities and staff meetings. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with at least one year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions, including minor injuries or illnesses.
• Uphold the hospital mission and support patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Advocate for patients and participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
