Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team. This full-time night shift runs 7pm–7am and includes a sign-on bonus of $3,750.

Responsibilities include providing care for medical and surgical patients, educating patients and families, coordinating with physicians, advocating for patients, and participating in unit activities. Requires an active RN license, BLS, and 1 year of clinical nursing experience with an ASN.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• Active RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital departments.
• Advocate for patients and participate in unit activities and meetings.

Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a full time night shift opportunity, 7p-7a.

Registered Nurse, Job Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Serve as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Experience Requirements

• 1 year Clinical Nursing Experience Required
