Job summary

Summit Orthopedics in Vadnais Heights, MN is seeking a SAU/PACU Registered Nurse for a casual Nights position. The role supports surgical patients with assessments, planning and delivering care in the ambulatory surgical setting.

12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with potential to float to other Summit centers as needed. Requirements include Associates of Nursing (required), Bachelors preferred, and current RN licensure with ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• One year of acute care experience required.
• RN license in good standing (required).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for SAU/PACU patients.
• Document and communicate patient information per guidelines.
• Provide direct nursing care and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, assistants, imaging, and anesthesia.
• Adapt care plan to patient changes to ensure safety.
• Float to other Summit centers as needed.
