Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a SAU/PACU Registered Nurse for a casual Nights position at the Vadnais Heights Surgery Center and Care Suites. Shifts are 12 hours from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with flexibility to float to other Summit centers as needed.

The role provides skilled nursing assessment, treatment planning, and interventions for ambulatory surgical patients, with a focus on safe outcomes and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year acute care experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, interpret, record and communicate pertinent data for safe surgical outcomes.
• Provide direct nursing care and assess patient needs.
• Follow guidelines for safe nursing care and plan of care.
• Coordinate with staff and external resources as needed.
• Reassess and adjust care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicate plans of care to the team.
