Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical Inpatient Unit at FMCOH Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL. This night-shift, full-time position requires a nursing degree, Florida RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required for some areas.

Responsibilities include administering patient care in acute setting, monitoring equipment and patient status, and collaborating with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms from monitors and other devices.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage patient care.
• Documents patient care in the medical record meeting regulatory standards.
• Assists in transitions and supports new team members and students.
