Job summary

The successful candidate will have a nursing degree, CA RN license, BLS certification, and 3 years of acute care experience, with preferred leadership in ER/ICU settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years of Recent acute care clinical experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: 5 years ER or Critical Care clinical experience
• Preferred: 2 years of House Supervisor or Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and supervisory activities of regional float staff, staffing office, and transfer center during assigned shift.
• Direct the daily operational and personnel activities of designated facility(s) for Patient Placement and the NorCal Regional Transfer Center.
• Intervene in staffing decisions, assignment of patients, and regional referral/transfer patients as necessary.
• Serve as a nursing resource in collaboration with ministry house supervisors and participate in safety-related decisions.
• Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient nursing needs are met.
