Job summary

Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia, GA is seeking a Nursing Supervisor for a part-time, 12-hour night shift (7p-7a). This role supports nursing care delivery, staff supervision, and quality improvement initiatives within the medical-surgical unit.

Requires GA RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BLS certification. Minimum five years’ nursing experience with three years in a supervisory role is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of five years' nursing experience.
• Minimum three years' supervisor experience preferred.
• BSN required.

Responsibilities

• Continuously supervises staff to ensure quality nursing care is being delivered.
• Coordinates, reviews quality improvement monitoring, analyzes and evaluates staff to improve nursing care.
• Plans staffing patterns/schedules with skilled personnel to meet patient care requirements.
• Adheres to Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
• Adheres to Environmental Safety Policies and dispose of needles and supplies safely.
• Determines Safety Levels on assigned patients according to safety guidelines.
