Job summary

Palms at Sebring seeks an RN Supervisor to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the Nursing Department for the 11 PM–7 AM shift. The role emphasizes maintaining quality clinical care in line with regulations and guidelines at the facility.

Requirements include a current Florida RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision, plus strong nursing knowledge and English language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida.
• Peripheral IV certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year in nurse supervision.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws and guidelines.
• English language proficiency required; other languages helpful.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care planning and delivery to coordinate quality patient care.
• Assess residents upon admission and as conditions change.
• Perform rounds to evaluate patient condition and adjust care accordingly.
• Provide or assist with direct patient care when needed, including ADLs, meals, meds, and treatments.
• Obtain and implement physician orders with accuracy.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions between shifts.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Coordinate with MD/NPs on-call for quality outcomes.
