Job summary

Givens Highland Farms Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Black Mountain, NC, is seeking a Full-Time RN Supervisor for night shift, 7pm–7am, every other weekend. The role centers on leadership of direct resident care and maintaining high-quality, compliant nursing services.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, ensuring care plans (MDS) are followed, providing staff teaching, conducting rounds, and assisting in admissions while communicating resident information promptly.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Proficient in computer systems and software.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team leader and liaison for direct resident care.
• Supervise CNAs in ADL assistance and resident care tasks.
• Ensure each resident care plan is implemented per the current MDS.
• Provide staff teaching and coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services as needed.
• Conduct hall rounds and report concerns with interventions.
• Participate in resident admission processes.
• Communicate pertinent resident information accurately and timely.
