AdventHealth in Louisville, CO is seeking an experienced RN to provide clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours, managing hospital personnel and resources to meet standards, goals and department requirements.

You will reassign staff to optimize skills, perform rounds, participate in nursing and medical staff committees, coordinate resources for unanticipated situations, and communicate follow-up as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in nursing computer applications and Office products (Excel, Word, etc) [Required]
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required]
• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department [Required]
• 1+ year of supervisory or charge nurse experience [Required]
• 3+ years of nursing experience [Required]

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours.
• Manages hospital personnel and resources to meet standards, goals, and department requirements.
• Reassigns employees to different duties to optimize skills, abilities, and workloads.
• Makes regular rounds to identify problems and facilitate efficient resolution.
• Participates in nursing, hospital, and medical staff committees as assigned.
• Attends regular meetings with management to resolve problems, exchange information, and plan accordingly.
• Facilitates and coordinates resources to address unanticipated hospital situations and concerns.
• Reviews and interprets hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with nursing leaders to coordinate hospital activities.
• Provides temporary solutions to identified problems and communicates necessary follow-up.
• Reports and responds to emergency situations.
