Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a Night Shift Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing staff from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am.

You will report to the Director of Nursing and Nurse Manager, supervise units, coordinate staffing, and ensure accurate documentation and patient safety. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, admissions, and treatment teams to deliver quality psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of nursing supervisor experience at minimum.
• Must have current license in good standing in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• CPI Certification preferred.
• Possess knowledge of ANA nursing standards and Federal and State guidelines and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical areas during after-hours.
• Coordinate staffing per census and patient acuity.
• Maintain communications with physicians, AOC, and DON.
• Ensure proper documentation and handle patient complaints.
• Oversee codes and admissions/discharges after hours.
