Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead a patient care team during the 7pm-7am shift.

You will oversee Respiratory Therapists, LPNs, and Unit Assistants and ensure high-quality care using the nursing process. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure in Louisiana, an Associate Degree (Bachelor's preferred), and current BLS/ALS/PALS; TNCC/NRP within 1 year and CPI within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nursing Program completed
• Current LA RN licensure is required

Responsibilities

• Oversee care for a group of patients during assigned time frame.
• Supervise the activities of Respiratory Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Unit Assistants.
• Provide care using the nursing process and collaborate with the health care team.
