Job summary

The Laurels of Sandy Creek/Maplewood of is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) for full or part time night shifts (6pm-6am) to oversee resident care on assigned shifts in a Michigan facility. Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff to ensure quality care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
